SreeVyas’s subversion of Grandeur

He didn’t want to disturb the previous paintings done at Dhanvantri 9 years back by BBMP.
Working along the existing visuals was the main intention. Social cohesion among the community was initiated by Vyas for the whole team.

Vyas uses elements from the Mysore palace painted on the Dhanvantri road ramp leading to Sheshadri road, like the windows and the arches.
The house facade was chosen for the proximity to the Mysore Palace mural. He involved the enthusiastic eager children of the community, Ajmer ( House owner), Raju & Murali to paint his mural and they were very helpful. While working with the children, Vyas was very involved and welcomed with open arms into the community.

Vyas has worked on Subverting the idea of Grand Architechtural facade of the Mysore palace and Vidhan soudha, which can be seen below the house, on to the facade of a home in the community and pushes the practice of what is otherwise popularly known as ‘street art’.
